Elvis, aka Elvira, is a young and talented photographer who begins working as a pizza delivery to make ends meet. In her first delivery she runs into Madonna, a transvestite who dreams of starting a show of Theatre Magazine, but ends up having her savings stolen by her lover John Tripod.

At this unusual meeting, they become fast friends, sharing many problems and few joys. Elvis is defined as "understood" while Madonna is almost a woman. Even with so many differences they discover that the heart knows no stereotypes, and it seems the unlikely happens, they go headlong into a passionate love relationship.
