Out lesbian musician Dani Shay performs her song 'Chasing Madness' a song she wrote shortly after the passing of actor Cory Monteith.

I wrote "Chasing Madness" back in 2013, soon after I heard about Cory Monteith passing away. I had just met him a few months prior [on the set of Glee], and could not believe that this tragically common story of 'young-fame-leading-to-an-early-death' had repeated itself with someone so close to home. As my heart broke for Lea Michelle and Cory's friends and family, my mind also filled with questions about my own involvement in the so-called 'entertainment industry'. This song is dedicated to Cory and all the other brilliant beings our world has lost too soon.
