Santa (Cortometraje) (Short Film)

Lourdes belongs to a very conservative religious family, living in Yerba Buena, Tucuman. Although her parents are separated, they attend weekly to church together as the perfect family.

One Sunday after Mass, Lourdes’ mother (Paula) discovers her kissing her friend Agostina in her room. True to her beliefs, Paula will try to “heal” homosexuality from her daughter, exposing her to situations that are increasingly difficult to bear.

Lourdes must face her violent father, discrimination in her school and the constant reproaches of her mother. Lourdes must choose between the love of Agostina and the love of God, which includes the love of her mother.
