Filmmaker Jenni Olson and wife Julie Dorf react to SCOTUS Rulings on Prop 8 and DOMA

Jenni Olson (creator of the upcoming film The Royal Road) and Julie Dorf were among many same sex marriage supporters in San Francisco' who celebrated the June 26th Supreme Court's rulings on Proposition 8 and DOMA. The couple, who have two daughters together, ages 14 and 10, married in Canada in 1995. The high court's decisions mean their marriage will soon be recognized by the California and federal governments. Dorf, a senior advisor for the Council for Global Equality and a leader in the LGBT rights international movement said, "It's a big deal for us personally, for our families, for our communities and for the American people. We're heading into an era where equality is equality -- and every American citizen gets the same rights an benefits."
