Between Dreams and Waking is an experimental short, that truly embodies the spirit of independent cinema. Touching upon an issue, seldom addressed within mainstream cinema..and pushing the boundaries a little further by setting it against a conservative Indian context it attempts to raise questions and probe into what it means to be a lesbian in a society that looks at it as abnormal, blasphemous and shameful.
