Established in 2009, OML, formerly One More Lesbian, began with a simple mission; to become a hub for lesbian members of the LGBTQ+ community seeking visual representation in the media. In 2020 we are proud to say that our vision has expanded to meet the needs of our ever-expanding community. Although OML continues to have a strong focus on lesbian content, we are making strides towards curating quality content for a broader queer audience, inclusive of all female and gender-expansive viewers.
The Internet has given us the ability to explore and experience video content from all around the world, but, unfortunately, key search words like ‘queer’, ‘lesbian’ and ‘bi-sexual’ have become synonymous with pornography and hate sites, making the search for quality LGBTQ+ content difficult. Because of this, OML is committed to aggregating quality LGBTQ+ content, cataloging this media in one place, and creating an environment that the community can enjoy.
We want community members anywhere in the world who seek representation and affirmation to come to OML and find it. At last count, OML is being viewed in 186 different countries worldwide. Many of these countries being ‘3rd World’, where such content is neither broadcasted, screened, sold, or rented. At OML, we are actively doing our best to ensure that quality LGBTQ+ content is accessible to anyone and everyone.
